The presentation offers an introduction to the Confluent Streaming Platform powered by Apache Kafka and how applications such as SyncSort integrate with it.   Particular emphasis is given to the data integration capabilities of Kafka Connect and the advanced management features of Confluent Control Center.  Together, Confluent and SyncSort enable users to expand their operational footprint and securely integrate mainframe data with external data systems.
