I’m thrilled to share that earlier this week, Microsoft announced its 2022 Partner of the Year Award winners, and Confluent won Microsoft’s Commercial Marketplace Partner of the Year Award (Global). The Commercial Marketplace Partner of the Year Award honors companies that demonstrate excellence in innovation and the delivery of unique solutions via Microsoft’s commercial marketplace.
This award is especially meaningful for us as it recognizes our deep commitment to consistent, high quality and predictable delivery and deployment of Kafka on Azure. Our marketplace solution, available through the Microsoft Partner Network (MPN), is fully integrated with Azure security, management, billing, and data analytics services, delivering a more agile and trustworthy approach for our customers to procure and deploy our market leading data streaming solution. We’ve made great strides to help companies quickly get started with Confluent on Azure, including the ability to start a free 30-day trial without a credit card, SSO capabilities through third parties such as GitHub, and a more unified marketplace experience for Microsoft customers.
“One thing is clear — the most successful businesses today are the ones that can stay ahead of customer needs and manage change as efficiently as possible.” said Jake Swenson, VP and GM Commercial Marketplace at Microsoft. “Confluent is great at helping companies make the most of real-time data, and through the Azure Marketplace, they’re doing a great job at partnering with Microsoft to reach customers globally, and deliver their solutions with speed and convenience.”
We’re honored by this recognition-it’s a testament to the hard work, joint planning, and collaboration between Microsoft and Confluent. And this is just the start. We look forward to the continued partnership with Microsoft to innovate and bring new data streaming solutions and use cases to market. Stay tuned!
