Sumerge's notification service provides a way to inform users of sizable transactions being made on their cards or the cards of their dependents by leveraging the near-real-time capabilities of Confluent to detect transactions as they happen. Confluent Connectors

Fetch changes of data in the source systems (e.g., MySQL and Postgres) and produce them to topics on the Confluent cluster.

Stream Processing

Using Flink SQL, join and filter data from the different tables and produce to a new topic.

Notifications

The consumer application consumes data from the new topic, and the emailing service is called to send an email notification to the independent user linked to the transaction.
