Ahorra un 25 % (o incluso más) en tus costes de Kafka | Acepta el reto del ahorro con Kafka de Confluent
Today, 40,000 people in Las Vegas are thinking about the Cloud—not because the weather is dry in Nevada, but because AWS re:Invent is in full force. Today is a perfect day for us to announce that Confluent Cloud is generally available on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Since we announced Confluent Cloud at Kafka Summit New York this May, we’ve been working closely with enterprises and startups alike to refine and harden Confluent Cloud on production workloads. From this real-world experience, we can safely guarantee a best-in-class uptime of 99.95%—exactly what you need to deploy mission-critical streaming applications with confidence.
Many companies run the core of their business on Kafka, and many more are making plans to do so. With additions to the platform like the Streams API and ksqlDB, Kafka is becoming a more and more powerful development platform. It is an increasingly compelling choice as a company’s central nervous system, the streaming backbone for all your microservices, or a commit log to serve database changelogs. It’s all those things, but many of you still don’t want to operate your own cluster. We all know operating a distributed system is hard, and you want to focus as many of your scarce resources as possible on building out application functionality that delivers value to your business. The promise of the cloud has always been to lift operational tasks from your team, and Confluent Cloud delivers on that promise.
With Confluent Cloud, developers and operators can use Kafka without having to think about deploying servers, monitoring load, and upgrading brokers. We’ll take care of all that for you. That’s a lot of extra application you can build with all that free time!
As a Confluent Cloud user, you’ll have your own private Kafka cluster that we host and manage in AWS. We’ll give you the standard network access to a Kafka cluster that you’d expect, plus the Confluent Cloud CLI to create topics and perform other administrative actions as you need. All we ask is simple questions like your desired throughput, which availability zones you require, and how long you want to retain the data in each topic.
If you’re interested in Confluent Cloud, we can get you set up with your own private cluster right away. If you’re at AWS re:Invent, stop by booth 1300 and ask our staff for more details. Otherwise, please head over to the Confluent Cloud product page to learn more or just fill in this form to get your cluster started. We’ll see you in the Cloud!
This blog announces the general availability of Confluent Platform 7.8 and its latest key features: Confluent Platform for Apache Flink® (GA), mTLS Identity for RBAC Authorization, and more.
We covered so much at Current 2024, from the 138 breakout sessions, lightning talks, and meetups on the expo floor to what happened on the main stage. If you heard any snippets or saw quotes from the Day 2 keynote, then you already know what I told the room: We are all data streaming engineers now.
