Confluent appoints Richard Timperlake as EMEA’s Senior Vice President for Sales

LONDON, UK – 31st January 2022 – Confluent, Inc. (NASDAQ:CFLT), the data streaming platform to set data in motion, has today announced the appointment of industry veteran Richard Timperlake as Senior Vice President EMEA, Sales.

Timperlake brings deep experience in driving digital transformation and helping customers across industries succeed with modern technology. Responsible for driving growth in EMEA, Timperlake will work with customers across the region to help them set their data in motion and deliver the incredible customer experiences required to compete in today's digital world. Timperlake will be based in London, U.K. and will report directly to Larry Shurtz, Confluent’s Chief Revenue Officer.

Prior to joining Confluent, Timperlake was SVP EMEA at Alteryx, where he was responsible for the hyper-growth of the business and driving digital transformation across all sizes of organisations. He also spent nine years at Qlik, where he ran Global Sales working with customers and partners in over 100 countries. Additionally, Timperlake held several roles at Splunk, Siebel and SAS.
