Welcome to the Connect with Confluent (CwC) Technology Partner Program Q1 2024 update where you’ll learn about everything new within Confluent’s expanding network of data streaming technology partners. Within this blog, we’ll introduce you to the latest cohort of partners who have built Confluent integrations within their applications and highlight customer success stories from across our partner ecosystem.

Meet the Q1 2024 Connect with Confluent entrants

New members to the CwC partner program in Q1 include Advantco, Aklivity, Arroyo, Asapio, Census, EMQX, Kinetica, Nstream, Redis, SingleStore, Squid, and Superblocks.

These technology partners help Confluent customers further simplify the effort to develop a central nervous system of real-time data that covers their entire data stack. New data sources provide more options for accessing data from MQTT/IoT devices and SAP systems. This cohort also significantly expands connectivity with downstream destinations including new real-time analytics platforms, SQL databases, cloud storage, and much more.

Confluent’s technology partners unlock new real-time use cases and innovation for customers

Since launching in July of 2023, our CwC partner program has grown quickly and provides customers with the technologies necessary to solve their biggest data challenges. Let’s take a look at some standout examples of customer success when pairing Confluent’s data streaming platform with CwC partner applications.

Dialpad Turns to Confluent and StarTree for Real-Time Customer Intelligence

AI-powered customer intelligence platform Dialpad uses Confluent’s data streaming platform together with StarTree’s real-time analytics platform to enhance customer engagements throughout their business. By modernizing their data stack with Confluent Cloud and StarTree, Dialpad is now able to proactively surface real-time insights for call center managers such as queue times, handle times, and hold times. This allows for down-to-the-minute decision-making and optimizations including how to reassign and repurpose call center agents. The new architecture has greatly improved data freshness—average end-to-end ingestion latencies have reduced from over one minute down to an average of 500 ms and as low as 10 ms.

Whatnot Delivers Real-Time, AI-Powered Recommendations Using Confluent and Rockset

Whatnot is a fast-growing e-commerce startup innovating in the livestream shopping market—offering a live-video marketplace for collectors, fashion enthusiasts, and superfans that allows sellers to go live and sell products directly to buyers through their video auction platform. With plans to grow usage 4 times in a year, Whatnot required a real-time architecture that could scale efficiently with their business and successfully handle sub-second analytical queries. With Confluent and Rockset, they were able to build a highly performant personalization engine that connects buyers and sellers on the platform by recommending the most popular and relevant videos on the Whatnot product home feed.

“Rockset delivered true real-time ingestion and queries, with sub-50 millisecond end-to-end latency…at much lower operational effort and cost.” — Emmanuel Fuentes, head of machine learning and data platforms at Whatnot

Connect with Confluent partners bring fully managed data streams directly to their users

Native Confluent integrations: CwC partners accelerate innovation by seamlessly integrating Confluent data streams with the world’s most popular data systems. With fully managed solutions, customers can avoid the complexities and risks of self-managing Apache Kafka® and custom vendor integrations. This enables cost-effective development of real-time, low-latency experiences for end users. By eliminating the management burden of open source Kafka, CwC partners provide the fastest access to Confluent Cloud, a cloud-native and complete data streaming platform available everywhere businesses need it.

Confluent Cloud, recently named a leader in The Forrester Wave™: Streaming Data Platforms, Q4 2023, is:

  • Cloud native: Spend more time building value when working with an Apache Kafka service powered by the Kora Engine including GBps+ elastic scaling, infinite storage, a 99.99% uptime SLA, highly predictable/low latency performance, and more—all while lowering the total cost of ownership (TCO) for Kafka by up to 60%.

  • Complete: Deploy new use cases quickly, securely, and reliably when working with a complete data streaming platform with 120+ connectors, built-in stream processing with serverless Apache Flink® (preview), enterprise-grade security controls, the industry’s only fully managed governance suite for Kafka, pre-built monitoring options, and more.

  • Everywhere: Maintain deployment flexibility whether running in the cloud, across clouds, on-premises, or in a hybrid environment. Confluent is available wherever your applications reside with clusters that sync in real time across environments to create a globally consistent central nervous system of real-time data to fuel the business.

New data streaming users: Through CwC partners, businesses can expand beyond Kafka experts and accelerate their data streaming initiatives. Native integrations drive organic expansion of real-time use cases throughout the business—exposing more users to a new, high-value source of data they might previously never have accessed. Gone are the days of major, cross-functional internal efforts to figure out which team manages Kafka, what it will take to prioritize development of a new integration, and how long it will take for the integration to be ready for production use. CwC integrations are fully managed and ready out of the box from right within our partners’ product user interfaces.

More real-time data: Altogether, every new integration from Connect with Confluent partners gives customers an easier means of sharing their data products instantaneously across Confluent’s data streaming network and fueling their entire business with more real-time data. As the program continues to expand, the value of data residing within any given system increases exponentially with the ability to be shared with every application throughout the network.
